Laura Cosgrove
President
Following her family tradition, Laura joined Eidson Insurance in 1994 to establish a third-generation business. Laura is licensed for both general lines of insurance and life and health insurance. Through active involvement with the Florida Association of Insurance Agents, Laura keeps in touch with industry-wide issues. A graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, Laura returned to her home state to earn her law degree at the University of Florida. Her leadership role extends to the community where she serves on boards for SunTrust, the Florida Executive Women, Athena PowerLink and the Foundation for Foster Children.

John Bruneau
Executive Vice President
John offers clients more than 14 years of sales and management experience in the insurance industry. He has earned the professional designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC,) Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS). In addition, he is a licensed attorney with the State of Florida. A graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island and the Florida State University College of Law, John worked in underwriting and sales with the Travelers Insurance Company and Allstate Insurance Company prior to joining Eidson Insurance.

Kathleen Kornbrust
Client Resource Specialist
Kathleen joined Eidson Insurance in 2005 and is a licensed agent. She graduated Summa cum Laude from Rollins College with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in education. Kathleen also earned her Masters degree in counseling from Rollins College and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. As our Client Resource Specialist, her goal is to find solutions to our clients’ business management issues by connecting them with current agency resources. In addition, she manages the Eidson Educational Series seminars on a variety of timely business management topics and provides training for our online business management tools.

Louis J Mariany, CPCU
Commercial Account Executive
With more than 35 years of insurance industry experience under his belt, Lou Mariany brings commercial account clients expertise in several valuable areas, including underwriting and sales. Lou's key accounts include construction, education and institutional (church) accounts, as well as workers compensation. A native of Baltimore, Lou came to the agency with experience in both sales and underwriting for national insurance companies. He achieved the CPCU designation in 1980. Lou is licensed in property and casualty, life and health, annuity and securities. Lou works with two account managers, Sue Villella and Genny D’Amato.

Byron Holton

A native Floridian, Byron Holton joined Eidson Insurance in 2005. Byron graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Business Administration and holds a general lines property and casualty insurance license. He has experience as an independent agent as well as sales and management experience in other industries. With this combination of insurance knowledge and understanding business operations, Byron offers expert consultation to business owners. Byron works with Chelsey Hatfield and Michaela Bernier as an account manager.

Mark Honaker, ARM
Commercial Account Executive
With over 25 years of insurance industry experience, Mark Honaker brings commercial account clients expertise in several valuable areas, including risk management, marketing, brokering, underwriting, loss control and sales. Mark is a graduate of the University of South Florida, with a Degree in Economics. Since graduating, Mark advanced his industry knowledge by obtaining the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. Mark has experience in handling accounts in essentially every industry and has developed expertise in the areas of public entities, schools, utilities, garage, hospitality and transportation. He has been a licensed agent in Florida since 1989. Mark teams with Dianne Lett, AAI, as an account manager.

A native of Central Florida, Kem Hall graduated with honors earning an MBA from the University of South Florida. He holds a general lines property and casualty insurance license as well as a life, health & variable annuity license and has passed the national Certified Financial Planner™ exam. Kem has significant experience in insurance-related industries serving an array of businesses. He has worked in the healthcare arena since 1997. Kem's strong knowledge of business operations coupled with his extensive experience in the healthcare field make him a valuable partner to any business or medical practice.

David Kroupa
Director of Medical Professional Division
David Kroupa has worked in the medical malpractice field for 15 years. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy and serving 5 years as an officer in the Marine Corps, he began his career in surgical and medical product sales where he learned the operations of a variety of medical practices. From there, he moved into a marketing position with a national medical malpractice insurance carrier. Since 2000, David has been serving physicians and physician groups throughout Florida as a medical malpractice advisor. David works with two account managers, Terri Jackson and Linda Whiting.

Cathy Prosser offers her clients more than 20 years of expertise in the insurance industry. Cathy specializes in providing planning for individuals and employers Life, Health, Disability and Retirement programs. Her professional designations include Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU). Hope C. Crawford
Benefits Account Executive
A graduate of Rollins College, Hope Crawford brings more than 8 years of progressive accomplishments within the insurance employee benefits services. Hope specializes in providing employer Life, Health, Disability and Ancillary products. Because Hope has both agency and company experience, she excels in representing her client’s needs when working with our insurance carriers. She also has extensive product knowledge and the ability to explain coverages to her clients and their employees. Hope holds 2-18 license for life, health and variable annuity insurance and is an active member in the National Health Underwriters of Central Florida. To ensure that her clients are informed, Hope spends time researching changes in state and federal regulations including HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA.
